Table Legs & Table Bases — The Character of Your Table

✓ 6 base models ✓ Steel or solid oak ✓ Black, white, natural or ✓ Combines with any tabletop

The tabletop determines the material and color — but the table base determines the character. A sleek Matrix frame gives a table an industrial look; tapered Cone legs make it more elegant. At Industrial Home, you choose the base completely independently of the top. Each base is available in multiple colors and can be combined with all tabletop materials — from oak to ceramic.

Buying advice: choosing the right dining table

Number of people Minimum length Recommended length
4 people 140 cm 160 cm
6 people 180 cm 200 cm
8 people 220 cm 240 cm
10 people 260 cm 280-300 cm
  • Space around the table: allow at least 90 cm of free walking space on all sides — 75 cm is the absolute minimum.
  • Standard table height: 75-78 cm. Combine with chairs that have a seat height of 43-47 cm.
  • Width: at least 80 cm for comfortable seating opposite each other, 90-100 cm is ideal.
  • Per person: allow 60-70 cm of table length per person — 70 cm provides elbow room.
Can I change the base later?

No. The base is attached during production and is permanently connected to the tabletop. Therefore, choose carefully in the configurator — you can calmly compare all options before ordering.

Are the steel bases rust-free?

Yes. All steel bases are powder-coated — a hard, adhesive lacquer layer that does not chip and protects against moisture. Suitable for indoor use without further treatment.

Which base is suitable for an oval table?

The Sol base (central leg) is especially suitable for oval tables: maximum legroom without corner legs getting in the way. The Matrix frame can also be applied to oval shapes.

Is the base stable for large sizes (240 cm+)?

Yes. For large tables, we adapt the base — for example, with a double Matrix frame or extra reinforcements. The configurator automatically provides the correct base configuration for the chosen length.

What is the delivery time?

Typically 4 to 6 weeks after order confirmation. The table is delivered assembled.
