Buy Ceramic Dining Table - Custom-Made
Ceramic Dining Table — Custom Design
A ceramic dining table is the most modern choice for the dining room. Ceramic as a tabletop offers a combination of aesthetic beauty and technical performance that no other material can match: invulnerable, heat-resistant, stain-resistant, and available in the most beautiful print designs from marble look to concrete look. At Industrial Home, you can buy a ceramic dining table completely customized — in the size, color, and base that suit you.
Why Ceramic for a Dining Table?
Ceramic tabletops have become one of the most popular materials for modern dining tables over the past decade. The reasons are clear:
- Exceptional hardness: ceramic is one of the hardest materials used for furniture. Cutlery, keys, sharp objects — ceramic laughs at them. A metal knife sliding across a ceramic top leaves no trace.
- Heat-resistant: ceramic is completely heat-resistant. A pan directly from the stove, a dish from the oven — ceramic takes no damage. This provides freedom and relaxation at the dining table.
- Stain-resistant: the fully closed surface of ceramic absorbs nothing. Red wine, coffee, oil — everything wipes away easily. Ceramic is the most hygienic tabletop available.
- Timeless appearance: a ceramic top will look the same in ten years as it did on day one. No patina, no discoloration, no wear — it is unchangeable.
Custom Ceramic Tabletop — How Does It Work?
At Industrial Home, every ceramic tabletop is custom-made — meaning you choose the dimensions, color, and base, and we produce the table exactly as you want it. Here’s how the process works:
Step 1: Choose dimensions and color
Through our configurator or via personal contact, you specify your desired dimensions (length, width, thickness). Popular thicknesses for ceramic tops are 6 mm, 12 mm, and 20 mm. You then choose the color and look: marble look (Calacatta, Statuario, Grigio), concrete look (light or dark) or a solid color. The custom ceramic tabletop is produced in this exact combination.
Step 2: Choose base
The base determines the character of your ceramic dining table. You choose from oak wooden legs (warm and natural), matte black steel frames (industrial-modern), brass or gold-colored steel (luxury with marble look) or walnut legs (premium). Every combination is available custom-made.
Step 3: Production and delivery
After order confirmation, the production of your custom ceramic dining table begins. The delivery time is typically 3 to 4 weeks. We deliver for free and include installation in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. The delivery personnel will place the table in the desired location — you don’t have to lift or assemble anything yourself.
Options and possibilities
Ceramic tabletops are available in rectangular, oval, and round shapes. Extendable ceramic dining tables are available upon request. For specific dimensions (e.g., for a bay window room or a special passage), you can always contact us — customization is our standard.

Ceramic Marble Look: Calacatta and Statuario
The most popular ceramic dining tables combine the technical advantages of ceramic with the luxurious appearance of marble. Marble-look ceramic is available in various classic marble types:
Calacatta Look
Calacatta marble is the most luxurious Italian white marble, characterized by its steel-white background with warm golden and light gray veins. In its ceramic version, this combines the beauty of Calacatta with the robustness of ceramic. A Calacatta ceramic dining table is the most impressive table in a modern dining room — light, luxurious, a statement. Combined with gold-colored or brass legs, it's a premier interior statement.
Statuario Look
Statuario marble is slightly cooler in tone than Calacatta — the background is whiter, the veins are grayer and more dramatic. In its ceramic version, the Statuario look gives a cleaner, more modern appearance than Calacatta. Perfect for minimalist interiors that need a luxurious accent.
Grigio Lappato (Gray Marble Look)
Gray marble-look ceramic has a more muted luxury than white marble. The gray background with lighter veins is more elegant and discreet — it tells its luxurious story without shouting. Combine with a matte black or dark gray metal base for a fully coherent dark interior.
Ceramic Concrete Look: Industrial and Timeless
Besides marble look, concrete-look ceramic is equally popular — and perhaps even more versatile. Concrete-look ceramic has the industrial, raw character of real concrete without the disadvantages (porosity, maintenance, weight).
Light Concrete Look
A light gray concrete-look ceramic top has the ambiance of a modern studio or loft. Neutral, versatile, combines with any chair and any base. Particularly popular in combination with oak wooden legs — the warmth of the wood compensates for the coolness of the concrete-gray.
Dark Concrete Look / Anthracite
Dark concrete-look ceramic is the most industrial tabletop. Deep gray to anthracite in color, with a subtle structure reminiscent of poured concrete. On a matte black steel frame, this is a pure industrial statement.

Bases for Ceramic Dining Tables
The base determines the character of the ceramic dining table:
- Oak wooden legs: warm combination — the coolness of ceramic softened by natural wood. The most popular choice.
- Matte black steel frame: industrial-modern, sleek.
- Brass / gold steel: luxurious accent with marble-look ceramic.
- Walnut legs: premium, warm, rich combination.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is a ceramic dining table heavy?
Yes — ceramic is a heavy material. A ceramic tabletop of 180 × 90 cm typically weighs 50–80 kg. This requires a sturdy base and careful delivery. We deliver with included placement.
Can ceramic crack or break?
Ceramic is extremely hard, but a hard, targeted impact (a heavy object falling on a corner) can cause it to crack. In normal daily use, this is virtually impossible. Its hardness is one of ceramic's greatest qualities.
Is ceramic suitable for daily use?
Ceramic is the most low-maintenance tabletop for daily use. No placemats needed, no need to be careful with wet glasses or hot pans. Wiping with a damp cloth is sufficient.
Which ceramic look is most popular at Industrial Home?
Calacatta marble look and light concrete look are the most popular choices. Calacatta for those who want luxury and lightness; concrete look for those who prefer industrial and neutral.
Can I combine a ceramic dining table with a wooden base?
Yes — and this is one of the most popular combinations. The contrast between the sleek ceramic top and the warm wooden base gives the dining table a lively, attractive tension.

What size dining table do you need?
As a rule of thumb, allow 60 cm of seating space per person along the long side. The table below provides a practical overview:
| People | Length | Width | Situation |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2-4 people | 120-140 cm | 80 cm | Small dining room or kitchen |
| 4-6 people | 160-180 cm | 85-90 cm | Most requested family size |
| 6-8 people | 180-220 cm | 90-100 cm | Spacious for 6, sometimes 8 possible |
| 8-10 people | 220-260 cm | 95-100 cm | Large dining room needed |
| 10-12 people | 260-300 cm | 100-110 cm | XL size for large gatherings |
Allow at least 75 cm of space around the table so that chairs can be pulled back. For chairs with armrests, calculate 65-70 cm per person instead of 60 cm.
Frequently asked questions about ceramic dining tables
What is the difference between ceramic and porcelain?
Ceramic is harder and more scratch-resistant than porcelain. A ceramic dining table is therefore ideal for daily use — resistant to heat, scratches, and stains.
Can I also use a ceramic dining table outdoors?
Ceramic is moisture-resistant and colorfast, but the base is often made of metal or wood and less suitable for outdoor use. We recommend our ceramic dining tables for indoor use.
In what sizes are ceramic dining tables available?
At Industrial Home, all ceramic dining tables are fully customized. Using the 3D configurator, you can choose the width, depth, and base type yourself. Available from 140 to 300 cm in length.
How do I maintain a ceramic dining table?
Ceramic is extremely low-maintenance. Clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent. No special treatments needed — ceramic requires virtually no maintenance.
