How Does the Extension Mechanism Work?
The mechanism of an extendable round table is simple: the two halves of the tabletop slide apart on rails in the base. Between them, a stored extension leaf either automatically folds up or a separate extension is placed.
At Industrial Home, we use a butterfly extension mechanism: the insert leaf is stored hidden under the tabletop and folds up when extended. You don't need loose leaves, and the table can be extended in 30 seconds. The mechanism is equipped with a soft brake, ensuring smooth and quiet movement of the leaf.

- Standard table height: 75-78 cm. Combine with chairs that have a seat height of 43-47 cm.
- Width: a minimum of 80 cm for comfortable seating opposite each other, 90-100 cm is ideal.
- Per person: allow 60-70 cm of table length per person — 70 cm provides elbow room.
