Mango Wood Dining Table
Mango Wood Dining Table — Tropical Character
A mango wood dining table has everything a mahogany or oak table offers — warmth, character, durability — but with a unique tropical twist. The warm brown color, wide grain, and subtle golden sheen make mango wood one of the most characterful table materials available. At Industrial Home, our mango wood dining tables are available in the Cliff and Wave Centro models — each in 180 and 215 cm, with the Wave also available in a distinctive triangular shape.
Why Mango Wood?
Sustainably sourced
Mango trees are harvested after they stop producing fruit — typically after 40-50 years. The felling of the tree is part of its life cycle; new young wood is planted. Mango wood is therefore one of the most responsible choices for solid wood furniture.
Warm brown color palette
Mango wood ranges from warm medium brown to dark espresso, sometimes with purple or golden-green veins through the grain. The color deepens slightly over the years — each table develops its own patina.
Robust and strong
Mango wood has a hardness of 1,070 lbf on the Janka scale — comparable to oak. Daily use will not easily damage it. Small scratches and dents give it the character that belongs to solid wood.

All models are available in 180 and 215 cm (Wave Triangular: 150 cm).
Mango Wood Maintenance — How to Keep Your Table Beautiful
- Daily: wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth
- Annually: treat with furniture oil or beeswax — the wood absorbs this and remains supple
- Stains: blot immediately, do not rub. Use a mild soap solution for stubborn stains
- Sun: prolonged direct exposure can cause discoloration — no problem, it develops a patina
- Heat: use coasters — mango wood is not heat resistant like ceramic
Mango Wood in Combination with Other Materials
Mango wood + black steel
The Centro legs in black metal are the perfect match for the warm brown tabletop. The contrast is industrial yet warm at the same time — the combination that bears Industrial Home's name.
Mango wood + ceramic
Combine your mango wood table with a ceramic side table or countertop. The contrast between the warm wood and the cool, smooth ceramic is surprisingly harmonious.
Mango wood + natural chairs
Dining chairs in natural rattan, wicker, or light oak seamlessly complement the tropical character of mango. Avoid overly cool or modern chairs.

Is mango wood sustainable?
Yes. Mango trees are harvested after they stop producing fruit (40-50 years). The wood is fully utilized, and new trees are planted. It is one of the most responsible choices for solid wood furniture.
How does mango wood differ from oak?
Mango wood is warmer and darker in tone than natural oak, and has a wider, more pronounced grain. Oak is slightly harder; mango wood is more resistant to humid climates. In terms of appearance, mango wood is warmer and more tropical, while oak is more Scandinavian.
Can I use a mango wood dining table outdoors?
No. Mango wood is suitable for indoor use. For outdoors, we recommend teak wood or coated metal tables.
How many people can the Cliff 215 accommodate?
The Cliff 215 comfortably seats 8 people: 3 on each long side + 1 at each end.
Is the Wave Centro triangular a true triangle?
Almost — it's a rounded triangular shape. Three slight curves instead of straight sides. Very unique and suitable as a design statement in a home with an angular floor plan.
