Dining Table 300 cm — Large Format for 10–12 People

✓ 300 cm — 10–12 People ✓ Fully Custom-Made ✓ Solid Wood or Ceramic ✓ Free Delivery NL, BE & DE

A 300 cm dining table is made for life's grand dining moments — the extended family meal, the festive Christmas dinner, the monthly family gathering. At 300 cm long, 10–12 people can comfortably sit at the table, with ample space for everyone and a richly set table. This is not a standard size — a 300 cm dining table is always custom-made. At Industrial Home, that's exactly our specialty: we craft every table to the exact size you need. Perfectly fitting the current Japandi, Wabi-Sabi, and Slow Living trends that define contemporary living.

Large Dining Tables: 300 cm Means 10–12 People

For large dining tables, these common capacity calculations apply:

  • 260 cm: 10 people comfortably
  • 280 cm: 10 people generously, 12 people possible
  • 300 cm: 10–12 people comfortably, depending on width
  • 320 cm+: 12+ people

For 300 × 100 cm: 4 per long side + 1 per end = 10 people. For 300 × 110 cm: 4 per side + 2 ends = 10, or 5 per side + 2 = 12 with 60 cm per person.

Custom-Made: Why 300 cm is Always Made to Measure

In the standard furniture segment, the 300 cm dining table is rarely found — it's too long for common production lines. At Industrial Home, this is not an issue: everything is made to order. We produce dining tables in any length, from 120 cm to 400 cm and larger. The 300 cm table is a common request for us, not an exception.

Customization at 300 cm also means you can fully adjust the width, height, and finish. Do you want 300 × 100 cm or 300 × 110 cm? A height of 75 cm or 77 cm? A matte black steel frame or solid oak legs? Everything is possible.

Materials for a Large Dining Table of 300 cm

Solid Oak

Solid oak is the popular wood type for large dining tables. A solid oak top of 300 cm consists of several wide planks glued together. The weight is considerable — a solid oak top of 300 × 100 cm gives this table an impressive, stable presence in any dining room. × 4 cm weighs approx. 80–100 kg. This requires a sturdy base but also results in the most stable, durable table.

Ceramic

A 300 cm ceramic top is technically challenging due to its weight and manufacturing process. The top is typically made as one or two panels. Ceramic in this format is extremely impressive — a wide Calacatta marble look at 300 cm is a spectacular visual statement.

HPL or Fenix

For an easy-to-maintain large table, HPL or Fenix is an excellent choice. Lightweight compared to ceramic, available in hundreds of colors and finishes, and extremely scratch-resistant. At 300 cm, an HPL or Fenix table delivers a clean, modern result.

Bases for 300 cm

For a length of 300 cm, an additional support point in the middle is highly recommended — a central leg or an additional pair of legs to prevent the top from sagging:

  • Two s: two parallel s approximately 80 cm from each end. Stable, industrial, suitable for steel or oak tops.
  • Three leg sets: two outer sets + a central leg set. Warm, Scandinavian.
  • Center beam with side legs: a continuous center beam or rail supports the top along its entire length.

Space Requirements

A 300 cm dining table requires a large dining room. Minimum guidelines:

  • Room length: 300 + 80 (chair front) + 80 (chair back) + circulation space = at least 5 meters
  • Room width: 100 (table width) + 80 (chair left) + 80 (chair right) = at least 2.6 meters

4 People 140 cm 160 cm
6 People 180 cm 200 cm
8 People 220 cm 240 cm

  • Space around the table: allow for at least 90 cm of free movement space on all sides — 75 cm is the absolute minimum.
  • Standard table height: 75-78 cm. Combine with chairs that have a seat height of 43-47 cm.
  • Width: at least 80 cm for comfortable seating opposite each other, 90-100 cm is ideal.
  • Per person: allow 60-70 cm of table length per person — 70 cm provides elbow room.
How many people sit at a 300 cm table?+

At 300 cm long, 12-14 people can comfortably sit — 5 on each long side + 1 at each end. Allow 60-65 cm per person on the long sides. This is a true feast table or restaurant table.

What space do I need for a 300 cm table?+

At least 460-480 cm room length (300 cm table + 2 × 80-90 cm passage space + chairs). And at least 260-280 cm width. This only fits in a large dining room, a villa, or an open living room of 35+ m².

What material is suitable for a 300 cm table?+

HPL is the best choice for extreme dimensions — stable, lightweight compared to solid wood, and scratch-resistant. Ceramic in large dimensions is possible but heavy (the tabletop alone weighs 80-120 kg). Solid oak at 300 cm is rare and expensive.

Are 300 cm tables also extendable?+

Extendable at 300 cm is unusual — a 300 cm table is already a festive size. Do you want flexibility? Choose an extendable table of 200-240 cm that can extend to 280-300 cm.

How is a 300 cm table delivered?+

In two parts (tabletop separate from the base) and assembled on site. For large dimensions, we always plan delivery with installation service — please specify this when ordering.

Are special bases required for 300 cm?+

Yes — for 300 cm, we recommend a double base (two pairs of legs or two A-frames) for adequate stability. A single central base is not solid enough at this length.
