Dining table for 10 people - what size do you need?
A dining table for 10 people is made for truly hospitable households - large families, lots of guests or simply people who like plenty of room at the table. But what size do you need to seat ten people comfortably? This guide will help you get started.
What size for 10 people?
Allow about 60 cm of table width per person. For ten people - four on each long side and one at each end - you end up with a length of 300 to 320 cm and a width of 100 cm.
- 300 x 100 cm - ten people comfortably
- 320 x 100 cm - ten people with plenty of room
How much space do you need?
Keep at least 90 to 100 cm free all around. For a 300 x 100 cm dining table you need a space of roughly 480 x 280 cm or more. Short on space? Then take a look at the sizes for a dining table for 8 people.
