Black Dining Table — Sleek, Atmospheric and Custom-Made
A black dining table makes the strongest statement in your dining room. Sleek, timeless, and versatile — black fits into an industrial interior, but just as well into a modern or Japandi home. At Industrial Home, you can custom-design your black dining table: choose the material (Fenix, HPL, or black oak), determine the size from 120 to 360 cm, and select the base that best suits you. Each table is delivered assembled — no flat packs.
Which material for your black dining table?
At Industrial Home, you have three main materials for a black dining table — each with a different character:
| Material | Appearance | Advantage |
|---|---|---|
| Fenix Nero Ingo | Deep matte, velvety soft | Anti-fingerprint, self-healing for minor scratches |
| HPL Black | Matte or semi-gloss | Scratch-resistant, heat-resistant up to 180°C |
| Oak black stained | Warm, with wood grain | Natural character, unique per table |
| Ceramic black | Glossy or matte | Completely dirt-repellent, water-resistant |
Bases for a black dining table
The base also helps determine the character of your table. We supply all bases in powder-coated black — which provides a sleek matte finish that won't chip or rust:
- Matrix — rectangular frame, sleek and industrial
- Cone — conical legs, modern and elegant
- Sol — central leg, perfect for round and oval tables
- Quattro — four legs, classic and stable
- U-frame — U-shaped frame, plenty of legroom
Tip: A Fenix Nero Ingo top with a Matrix black base is our most popular black combination. Fully matte, no sparkle, design it yourself in the 3D configurator.

Frequently asked questions about black dining tables
Does a black table attract fingerprints?
That depends on the material. Fenix is specially developed for anti-fingerprint: its nano-matte structure absorbs light and makes fingerprints barely visible. HPL has a matte or satin finish that performs quite well. Glossy ceramic shows more fingerprints — choose matte ceramic instead.
Can I combine a black table with wooden chairs?
Absolutely — this is one of the most popular combinations. Light oak chairs next to a black table create a warm, Japandi-like contrast. Walnut chairs create a darker, more luxurious look.
Is a black dining table suitable for families with children?
Yes. HPL and ceramic are scratch-resistant and durable — ideal for heavy use. Fenix is also durable, but has the added feature that small scratches disappear with heat (thermal healing).
Does black fade over time?
Not with our materials. Fenix and HPL are UV-stable and do not fade. Black stained oak may change slightly over years of intensive use, but that is inherent to wood.
What is the delivery time?
Usually 4 to 6 weeks after order confirmation. After ordering, you will receive a confirmation with the estimated delivery date.
Is the table delivered assembled?
Yes. Our delivery personnel assemble the table directly upon delivery and place it in the desired location. No hassle with flat packs.
How much warranty do I get?
All Industrial Home tables come with a manufacturer's warranty. Questions? Contact us — we are happy to help.
