What is the difference between solid oak and oak veneer?

Solid oak is made entirely of oak wood and can be sanded and re-oiled or varnished multiple times. Oak veneer is a thin layer of oak on an MDF or chipboard core - more affordable and less susceptible to shrinking. We only work with solid oak.

How do I maintain an oak dining table?

An oiled oak dining table should be treated 1-2 times a year with furniture or wood oil. Wipe daily stains with a damp cloth. Avoid prolonged contact with water or moisture. A varnished oak dining table is easier to maintain and does not require annual oiling.

What color is an oak dining table?
